The ultimate celebration of pop-culture is back this year with Oz Comic-Con set to return to Brisbane on September the 22nd-23rd.Oz Comic-Con is one of the only events that offer an exciting mix of multi-genre content from a wide variety of media including, appearances by film and television stars, comic book artists, voice actors, gaming demonstrations, cosplay competitions and many other activities that will be sure to leave convention goers satisfied.


For the little ones, there are heaps of activities catered for their amusement. They can try their hand at comic book art at the kids comic artists workshops. If they’re into getting dressed up, they get into cosplay to join in the Kids Cosplay Parade!


This year, Oz Comic-Con has everyone covered. If you’re a comic collector, there’s a comic grading area and you can also head over to the main stage for the guest panel discussions. If anime is more your thing, then you can have your knowledge tested with trivia, for major cosplayers can kick off their journey to win the international title.


Now don’t worry, Oz Comic-Con hasn’t forgotten about the gamers. This year gamers will have the opportunity to put their skills to the test in daily tournaments of new and classic titles. When: September 22nd (Saturday) – 23rd (Sunday) from 9am-6pm daily.
Where: The Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, Merivale St & Glenelg Street, South Brisbane QLD 4101.
Ticket Info: Early Bird tickets are now on sale – save up to 35% with General Admission Single Day Passes. General Admission tickets will be $42.50 at the door, children under 12 are free. There’s also a variety of online exclusive tickets on-sale, while allocations last.
