Pablo – New Farm

Pablo – New Farm

| On 07, Nov 2013

Looking for a café that serves breakfast after 11am has been a difficulty I have faced numerous times – which is why discovering Pablo in New Farm was such a relief!

For those out there who like to sleep in to the extreme on their days out, and still want to eat breakfast out, this is the ideal place for you.

A dilemma I have faced numerous times, it was refreshing to find somewhere that served breakfast not till 11, not till 12, but till 2:30!

Even better, they also start serving lunch at 11 so if you and your dining companions can’t agree on a meal, this is the perfect solution.

Located just back from the busy Fortitude Valley, Pablo is a cozy and eclectic café.

With a menu that is rustic with a touch of fancy, the meals combine hearty home-style ingredients cooked with a high-end twist.

What I ate: Smashed peas with zucchini & mint $16 served with lemon ricotta, pan-fried chorizo, grilled haloumi, fresh lemon over caraway & onion rye toast.

The prices are a little steeper than the average brunch location, however for the standard and diversity within the menu, it was well worth it.

Pablo is yet to have the hype surrounding it that it deserves, and will no doubt acquire shortly.
Get in quick and try it, before it’s ruined by the masses!
