Queensland (week) wins again!
Has tonight’s Origin showdown left you feeling particularly patriotic? Are you left with the sudden urge to shout ‘QUEENSLANDER!’ to strangers in the street? Has it been a XXXX instead of a VB lately?
It sounds as though you may be afflicted with Maroon fever.
Luckily, there is a cure. You see, Queensland Week is on right now and runs until Sunday 9 June. That’s three whole days to celebrate our great state and show your Queensland pride!
There are lots of activities going on. Here’s just a sample:
Queensland Day in the Office
For those who could do with a break away from the computer screen, then the Queensland Day in the Office event is just for you. Host a ‘Queensland’ themed event and celebrate our official escape from the cockroaches down south. Why not host a morning tea with some great local produce like macadamias and pineapple?
So take some time off this Thursday – even the government says you can!

Indigenous Music Showcase
