Rainy Day Women touring nationally in March
Following the release of their EP, Freemantle four-piece Rainy Day Women are touring nationally.
The band is hitting Perth, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, playing in our humble abode on March 13th at Black Bear Lodge. With a little help from their friends, Oceanics (Gold Coast) and Brisbane’s own Ben Fahey.
The EP was recorded with producer Andy Lawson and mastered by Brain Lucey, who worked with The Black Keys and The Shins; so you can expect nothing less than a pretty brilliant pop sound with an indie hook. You can live stream the EP on SoundCloud or pick it up from your local (not bottle-o, use your noodle).
Rainy Day Women’s sound is like jumping in the ocean and eating icy poles in the summer time, it’s positively fun, refreshing and happy-go-lucky. I think we can expect much more of the same warm fuzzy goodness from this indie pop group in the future.
Tickets are cool $13.60 available from oztix, so do your bit to support some pretty talented folks and get along and see them in March. Be sure to arrive to the gig a little early to catch local talent Ben Fahey, his voice… oh my.
Hope to see you scamps there!
