Head on over to South Bank this weekend for what is sure to be one gloriously tasty day out!

July you are spoiling me with your endless foodie events and this weekend you enchant me with one of my favourite Brisbane festivals, Regional Flavours. The event celebrates leisure, food and lifestyle with a sensory overload at each turn and plenty of celebrity chefs to swoon over.

The wonderful cravat wearing Matt Preston will be gracing us this year with his love of food and way with words. Preston will take part in the EAT-SHOW-TELL program on Saturday with a live cooking demonstration. Joining the star studded list, Miguel Maestre, the charismatic Spanish chef we can’t get enough of as well as Alastair McLeod, Darren Robertson, Alejandro Cancino and Dominique Rizzo to name a few.

As always, The Hunting Club tent will be filled with craft beers, cooking demonstrations, knowledge ridden local brewers and general great vibes. If you are in search of a fantastic view, head down to the River Quay ‘Savour’ and experience Queensland’s idyllic lifestyle at its best. Indulge in luxurious food and wine while listening to the smooth sounds of live lounge music that overlooks the sparkling Brisbane River.

Did someone say All Day Breakfast? This year thanks to Di Bella coffee, the Little Stanley Street lawns will be serving up gourmet brekkie delights. Grab yourself a cup of coffee and relax as you listen to some talented baristas and food connoisseurs share their knowledge.  Presentations run every hour throughout the day.

South Bank restaurants will again be joining in on the Eat Fleet Food Trucks along Little Stanley Street serving cheap and mouth-watering eats. Participating restaurants include Ahmets, Beastie Burgers, South Side Diner, Ole and My Sweetopia among many others.

With free samples from over 100 of Queensland’s finest regional producers and wineries, a taste assortment of pop-up menus from the Eat Fleet Food Trucks, celebrity chef cook book signings, craft beer and slow barbeque South American beef demonstrations, South Bank is the place to be this weekend!
