Brisbane is once again delighted to welcome the intellectual wisdom that a TEDx talk offers, and this year is the year of The Lovers, The Dreamers and Me. On October the 5th, the Brisbane Powerhouse will light up with ideas from creative and inspirational entrepreneurs who have a passion to create, build and flourish their ideas into a reality.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDxBrisbane is inspired by locally run and self-organised events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.

From its humble beginnings 25 years ago in California, TED has become a worldwide phenomenon and an inspiring conference for those world-changing ideas, with multiple initiatives, from the most innovative thinkers.TED1-600x316

Last year the sell-out event saw more than five hundred people attend after being inspired by a stellar line-up of speakers, including the finale with Li Cunxin.

TEDxBrisbane 2014 will run under license by Paul Fairweather of Fairweather Creative Culture, Carl Lindgren of Map magazine & Lisa Watts from The Weekend Edition.

TEDxBrisbane is a full day of ideas, conversation and community and is set to take place on October 5th 2014 from 9 am until 9.30 pm.

The day is shaping up to be an incredibly exciting one with a great line-up of speakers and entertainers set to take the TEDxBrisbane stage.

If you have an idea worth spreading and fancy yourself as a dreamer with a passion, then there is only a limited time to register interest for your chance to attend to the exciting conference.
