'RINSE': Thursday's on the Rooftop at Limes.

The weather is cooler, days are getting shorter and nights are getting longer which makes Thursday evenings out on the town even more appealing with the new, weekly event at Limes Hotel Rooftop Bar – ‘RINSE.’
In keeping with the open air and boutique appeal, from 6pm until late, Thursday nights are now dedicated to rinsing off the week a day early by easing into the weekend with intimate surroundings and smooth house music presented by local and guest DJ’s alike. We had the opportunity to attend the swanky, down-tempo launch of RINSE last Thursday night. The signature cocktail and drink menu will  help you ease into the evening and I can guarantee (from first-hand experience) that the cocktail specials on offer are set to tantalize even the driest of tastes. For those after a little more to compliment the drinks in hand, the new menu of nibbles further stood out as being both light and satisfying.
After a long week, the low-key but sophisticated atmosphere delivered all that was promised – fresh, open air, twinkling downtown lights, astro turf, plunge pools and inner city house music that is sure to attract the after-work crowd and rooftop enthusiasts alike.
Thursday nights spent on the rooftop at  RINSE  have potential and appeal to become the stand out, relaxed and urbane weekly event. From experiencing the launch last week, this event presents an opportunity for those wanting to embrace aspects of Brisbane’s niche house music scene to come out and mingle with locals and guests alike, whilst embracing quality drinks and stellar, city vibes.
As soon as the doors of the elevator open on the fourth floor of Limes Hotel, you know that you have stepped into another world. Be it escapism from standard Thursday night antics or indulgent start to the weekend – let the driving basslines and low lights of the rooftop lead you there.
