If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine in Brisbane look no further than The Spaghetti House Trattoria located on the corner of Grey Street and Little Stanley Street in South Bank.
Having closed its doors in West End in January of this year, the restaurant’s regular diners will be pleased to know it has reopened in South Bank.
Accompanied by Italian staff and music, Spaghetti House Trattoria is the perfect spot to throw back a few red wines and indulge in everything decadent that Italian cuisine has to offer.
The menu has everything you could want out of an Italian restaurant, transporting you to somewhere in Tuscany, and will cater to all of your Italian cravings including ravioli dishes, gnocchi, pizza, risotto and plenty more pastas.
One of the truly stand-out dishes on the menu and one that is well-renowned by Spaghetti House regulars is the prosciutto-wrapped figs with a gorgonzola fondue.
It is the perfect dish to share amongst friends for a little taste of Italy and is served with plenty of fresh bread to mop up all that delicious gorgonzola sauce.
For main if you decide on pizza expect an expertly prepared base, cooked to perfection with lashings of mozzarella di bufala.
The Salamino is definitely worth a try for any salami lovers out there; served with a Napoli sauce, sopressata, mozzarella and oregano.
Or perhaps for a more classic taste of Italy you could try one of the Napoli pizzas with mozzarella di bufala, anchovies, olives and garlic.
If you’re more in the mood for pasta you might have trouble choosing as the menu offering is to-die-for.
Amongst other classic Italian pasta dishes like carbonara, pesto and marinara I assure you the vongole will not disappoint.
Served with baby clams, chilli, garlic, wine, parsley and your choice of spaghetti, linguine, fettuccine, pappardelle or penne – simply delicious.
Make sure you head to Spaghetti House Trattoria for your next get-together seven days a week from 11:30am until 10pm.
