Splendour In The Grass Announce Crazy Lineup

Splendour In The Grass Announce Crazy Lineup
Taylor Furby

Honestly I don’t even know where to start.

The lineup is always insane but there’s been some uncertainty around the music festivals that reside in New South Wales and a lot of people were worried that Splendour In The Grass would have to cut big names from the lineup but alas, they’ve pulled it off.

Splendour announced their always highly-anticipated lineup yesterday morning and oh wow you need to strap yourself in. It’s our own mini Coachella as we’re sharing two out of the three headliners including Childish Gambino and Tame Impala. Then chuck Chance The Rapper on top of that you’ve got yourself the biggest headliners we’ve seen at Splendour for the last couple of years.

Tame Impala have just released some new music and are always a blast to see live. Donald Glover AKA Childish Gambino is retiring his musical persona after his next album so chances are that this is the last time we’ll catch him playing shows in Australia. He also was forced to cancel his last Australian tour because of a broken foot so technically he owes us. Chance The Rapper has only been to Australia a couple of times and with an album coming in July, it’ll be perfect timing to hear the new music.
