Spring (Fashion) has sprung

The sun is shining, the birds are chirping and the flowers are blooming. It’s our favourite time of the year, and not just because of the weather.
“Florals for spring? Groundbreaking!” is a phrase most fashionistas would relate to this time of year, but spring fashion is so much more fun than a pretty floral print. We give you the top 4 trends for spring and where to find them.
- The Wrap Skirt/Dress/Top/Anything
It’s a fresh take on the spring aesthetic with wraps being the way to go for this season. Sir the label or Seed have a good take on this trend.
- Â All white every-thang
Don’t wear white after labour day? Yeah right! White is definitely the colour (or shade) of spring. Whether it be white cutoffs, sneakers, or a pretty lace dress, you are definitely set to be standing out in this look. Zimmerman or Sportsgirl are your go to’s.
- Relaxed Denim
Definitely one of the biggest trends for 2015, denim is continuing into spring. Raw edges and patchwork give a fresh take on denim and give it a more relaxed look. Go for something more slouchy and oversized and you can’t go wrong. One Teaspoon and Country Road are sporting some of the best denim looks at the moment.
Whether it be sneakers or heels, laces have been the common denominator amongst the shoe trends this year. For spring, the lace up sandal is taking the forefront and we love it. Available widely, but Windsor Smith and Free People are our favourites.
