Spring/Summer Fashion Launch with Indooroopilly & Vogue

Creative Drinks were fortunate enough to be invited to a lovely evening of fashion & food at Indooroopilly’s Nantucket Kitchen & Bar, in conjunction with Vogue Australia.
Vogue’s managing director Philippa Brophy hosted & styled the night’s fashion show that featured pieces available from Indooroopilly Shopping Centre.
Designs from the likes of Camilla, Sass & Bide, Manning Cartell, Scanlan Theodore and Carla Zampatti were modelled in the surrounds of the beautifully decorated restaurant.
Philippa, who was chicly dressed in a black velvet Givenchy skirt, gave us her exclusive tips on dressing for the warmer weather.
In her opinion, the must-have items for the spring and summer seasons are a good pair of tailored shorts and a leather jacket for cooler nights.
Although Philippa’s colour of choice is black, she believes that pink tones will be big for the coming seasons. Her favourite Australian designers to buy from include Dion Lee, Josh Goot and Toni Maticiveski.
And the fashion trend she thinks should die? Crocs. “How did that trend even start?” she says while laughing.
