Revelry Entertainment are excited to announce a new Brazilian Day Street Festival bursting into Brisbane onÂ Saturday 10 October, bringing the sounds, colours, tastes and party spirit of Brazil to Fortitude Valley!
Rumour had long circulated about the multi-purpose space and creative hub developing in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley; the stripped out four walls and ceiling of an old backpacker’s hostel designed to channel an ever-growing stream of Brisbane musical talent into something distinctly palpable.
With an additional cunning title:
“Oh, ‘The Foundry?’ As in like, it makes things? Nice.”
For the next month Brisbane City Council will bring us Brisbanites a hub of cultural degustation that will have us seeing, tasting and experiencing the delights of Asia.
Incorporated into the city and surrounding suburbs, BrisAsia Festival will be held for the month of February to celebrate our diverse Asian cultural connections.
Cheap delicious small eats, Japanese whiskey and beer and exotic Asian inspired cocktails are all being pumped out of the new restaurant and bar Bincho, making it an excellent destination for your future weekend party adventures.
The 2014 Brisbane Experimental Art Festival will open its doors this Saturday the 9th of August at the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts. This free event will showcase Brisbane’s best and most emergent artists, as they come together in a night of exhibition that explores experimental pieces of artÂ developed here in our grand city.
