Itâ€™s not too late for you to enjoy the Italian Film Festival!
Thereâ€™s daily screenings of Italian films at the Palace Centro and Palace Barracks until the 22 October.
The largest festival of Italian films outside of Italy, this is your chance to see the finest in contemporary Italian cinema on the big screen.
There are also special events for the Brisbane leg of the Festival.
On Sunday the 20 October, the Brown Brothers presents Mr Volare: an afternoon of musica.
This means pre-film drinks are supplied by the Brown Brothers and live musica in the flavour of the great Italian cantautore, Domenico Modugno.
Followed by the Australian premiÃ¨re screening of Mr Volare: the story of Domenico Modugno at the Palace Centro.
Closing night offers pre-film cocktails, Connoisseur ice cream and live entertainment! What more could you want?
Well just in case you are left wanting there is a screening of Felliniâ€™s Roma, made in 1972.
Described as a grand homage to the spectacular Rome, its street life and vibrancy in all its glorious forms.
