It is that time of year again when people start to plan their mid year adventures.
Whether you are jetting off to the warmer European weather or visiting family in cold climates, a list of travel essentials is necessary for any avid traveller.
I hate being that person who is still carrying around three different bags after checking your initial luggage. Sometimes people need guidance on what not to bring.
Below are my travel essentials for those 2014 globe trekkers.
1. Paw Paw Ointment
An absolute must for international flights to help with that dry aeroplane air.
When travelling in another country you don’t want to have to worry about finding a chemist to mend those cuts and bruises.
 3. Travel JournalÂ
To keep a record of all your adventures and to store any notes or recommendations on the places you are visiting.
 4. Sunglasses
No explanation necessary.
 5. A good sized handbag
To store all your travel essentials. Make sure the bag isn’t too big because this will be your primary carry-on item.
Waiting for your towel to dry will be a thing of the past.
7. Headphones + iphone/ipod/tablet/ipad or laptop
Help pass the time when travelling the long distances: music, movies and books.
8. Passport Wallet
Store your passport, travel insurance and copies of your travel documents.
How can you start a travel blog without the necessary travel photography?
10. Comfortable pair of shoes
The best way to explore new cities is through the streets so make sure your feet are prepared with comfy shoes.
