Vintage Centro returns to Palace Cinemas

If you are a fan of vintage film or are just one for reminiscing, this is a film event you don’t want to miss.
The Palace Cinemas brings you a selection of vintage and cult classic films with the second edition of Vintage Centro.
The event spans over four months with a film screening every Sunday at 3pm at Palace Centro cinemas.
Despite the slightly pixelated visuals or crackle in the sound, there’s nothing like seeing one of your old favourites relive its time on the silver screen.
The event’s eclectic mix of cult classics range from the genres of Centro Thrills and Dramas, Centro Laughs, Centro Sing-A-Longs and Centro Affairs.
The event will open on February 9 with Martin Scorsese’s thriller, Taxi Driver (1976), and conclude on June 8 with a screening of slapstick comedy classic, Airplane (1980).
You are sure to find something that takes your fancy with screenings of vintage favourites including My Fair Lady, Dirty Harry, West Side Story, Groundhog Day and The Shining.
It will be just like seeing your favourite films for the first time, except this time with air conditioning, comfy seats and maybe one of the famous Palace gourmet choc tops.
Sunday afternoons have never looked so good.
