What To Wear: The Concert Season

What To Wear: The Concert Season

| On 10, Sep 2014

After going to three #artRAVE’s in the past week, and contracting the #artPLAGUE (thanks Gaga), it’s time to be ready to attend the hottest concerts of the season. With Kanye West, Miley Cyrus & Justin Timberlake all hitting Australian shores in the next few weeks, concert goers must look their best and be on trend to avoid any embarrassment.

Concert #1: Kanye West – The Yeezus Tour.

Think plaid. Think leather. Think all black everything! Kanye West is a style icon in his own right, with him being known to rock the latest menswear & streetstyle trends. Taking inspiration from the man himself would be your safe bet to look on trend. A cheap knock-off of a Givenchy tee paired with leather drop-crotch pants and red leather high top converses will make you look a Yeezus fan. No questions asked.

Concert #2: Justin Timberlake – The 20/20 Experience World Tour

It’s a classy affair. In recent years, Justin Timberlake’s style has evolved from teen boy-band member to sophisticated global superstar. Swapping in the metallic jumpsuits for designer threads, Justin Timberlake has become the go-to style icon for the classier dresser and that’s what will be seen at his concerts. A relaxed blazer, a simple tee, a nice pair of jeans and a pair of dress boots would look divine.

Concert #3: Miley Cyrus – Bangerz Tour

Now it’s time to get wild! Disney teen queen turned outrageous pop princess, Miley Cyrus is known to bring the fun to the party and her concerts are full of playful mischief. This is where you should draw your outfit inspiration from. Bright colours, mis-matched patterns & denim overalls would be perfect for the Bangerz tour.
