At The Creative Issue we offer a very exciting online contributor program that has already seen many university student take part over the past 5 years.

Our program is designed to benefit students that study the following fields:

  • Journalism
  • Marketing
  • Mass Communications &
  • The Creative Industries

We offer you insight to what it would be like to have a career in media, marketing and communications.

I did an internship with The Creative Issue during my last year of a bachelor of journalism. I loved every minute of my time there, so much so I still contributed to TCI long after! I met so many amazing, talented and uber fun people there (Ratu is THE Best Ever!). My internship was dynamic, challenging and best of all enjoyable. Such a creative and inspiring environment to learn and let the writing juices flow!

An online contributor with The Creative Issue is not a couple of weeks running around grabbing coffee and sitting at a desk hoping for someone to pay you attention. Our program run for 6 months, you get to choose your hours and what you work on. We are there to guide you and give you feedback on what you do. You have the chance to observe everyone involved in the production of The Creative Issue. You are not required to work in an office.

Sharing my thoughts and creative process with the team at The Creative Issue was such an incredible experience. I was provided with a platform to explore the cultural events Brisbane has to offer while improving my writing and interview capabilities. I would highly recommend TCI to any aspiring journalists and writers.
